About the teaching artist:
Gabrielle Lyons is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and multimedia artist with a unique aesthetic influenced by 80s/90s illustrations, african-american spirituality, dark glamour, and magical realism. Her diverse portfolio spans digital art, mixed media, and painting, engaging with socio-economic issues, race, mythical storytelling, and pop culture references.
